25 Metal Riffs

Styles covered include Ratt, Dokken, Motley Crue, Helloween, UDO, Tesla, Helix, Accept, Scorpions, Trixter, Yngwie Malmsteen, Europe, Great White, Kiss, Dio, Great White, and Winger. Each riff is played at tempo, slowly, and at 60bpm with on-screen animated tab.
Easy Guitar Modes Lessons One and Two
Lesson One starts with an incredibly simple nine-note pattern that you can memorize quickly and then easily move to other octaves and keys. This pattern contains every mode of the major scale, but we’ll start by visualizing it as Mixolydian, then Ionian, and then as Aeolian (natural minor). You will also learn how to see the minor pentatonic in this same pattern and you will quickly be playing all over the fretboard with confidence! In Lesson Two we learn how to transpose the original nine-note pattern, or move it to other keys. We get plenty of practice using this pattern to play the Aeolian mode, or natural minor. Then we see how we can play the Phrygian mode with this same shape.
Melodic Principles Volume I
For most of us the layout of the strings and frets presents a confusing puzzle. Reading tab is easy, but really understanding the guitar takes a little time and effort. Volume One of Melodic Principles for Rock Guitar will open a new world for you! This is “music theory made easy”- and packed with great riffs.
